The final stage!

Today’s stage will take us down the beautiful and relaxing Sarytag valley and through the town of Sarytag. Once past Sarytag the road turns to looser dirt and switchbacks down until it levels off for the approach to Iskandarkul.

Iskandarkul is the most iconic lake in Tajikistan, famous for its beautiful colour and legends of being visited by Alexander the Great. We will approach the clear blue lake from the west and circumnavigate its southern side finishing at the base camp on the eastern shore. There we will celebrate the momentous accomplishment of finished the Tajik Mountain Traverse together.
